The Montana Fly Fishing Lodge is a luxurious, all-inclusive fly fishing lodge located in Absarokee, Montana. Absarokee, pronounced (Absorb-kee) is located in Central Montana about an hour west of Billings. This central location gives us access to a lot of rivers Montana has to offer including the Stillwater, Yellowstone, Boulder, Bighorn, and Wyoming’s Shoshone.
When you fly into Billings a shuttle driver will be waiting to pick you up and drive you straight to the lodge. As soon as you arrive at the lodge you see a giant and beautiful log cabin accompanied by five glamping tents. Not only are the accommodations an easy 5 stars but the cuisine will quickly impress even the best chef. Tomahawk steaks, Chilean Sea Bass, and Sockeye Salmon cooked to perfection are regularly on the menu.
Before dinner though, you will have the opportunity to take a casting lesson from one of our certified casting instructors to get you ready to fish the next day. From there you are free to roam and participate in any of the activities that are provided at the lodge, Billiards/Shuffle Board/Foosball/Table Tennis/Corn Hole, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and Paddle Boarding to name a few. You can also choose to go fish on the private pond to solidify your new casting skills!
After a hearty breakfast the next morning, we set off on our world class fly fishing adventure. Depending on the day and the conditions your guide will take you to any one of the rivers mentioned above. Dry fly fishing is typically on the menu but nymph and streamer fishing can also be epic.
